DAYLY DEPARTURES: this is a half day tour, every day from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM
This tour is known for combining beautiful natural landscapes, inca architecture in Tipon, pre – Inca wari architecture in Pikillacta and a beautiful chapel, known as the small Sistine chapel of America.
Tipon is said to be a royal garden commissioned by Wiracocha; it is one of the most elaborate examples of agricultural terracing created by the incas, all of these terraces are irrigated by an aqueduct from the mountain above the site.
Pikillaqta is the only pre inca site in Cusco area, these buildings were made around 900 AD by Wari culture.
Andahuylillas the Church was built by Jesuits in the sixteenth century over a pre-Columbian huaca, or ceremonial space, the beauty of its mural painting and the golden works make the church spectacular.
